How to build a curriculum that integrate the tools of the computer with classroom content.

In order not to teach ‘how to use the computer, the programmes on the computer, programmes that allow to create and social networking tools’ separately as a subject called ITC, an integrated approach can be used to enhance the subject curriculums that are being used  to teach content in the classrooms for  mathematics, Science, Social studies, Language, Art, music etc.

Tools that support communication and cultivate teaching can be integrated into the classroom curriculums in order to teach the new easier and quicker system of sending and receiving mails (email) as well as tools that create a virtual learning environment such as ‘education city.com’, an animated programme which can be used in most of the basic subject areas to teach concepts and aid with extra fun activities and hence provide the necessary resources for learning to take place at an affordable cost plus capture the students attention and as a result be able to use programmes to showcase their creativity in art , music , science, social-studies ect.

But before the classrooms curriculums can be integrated to make learning more meaningful, topics of all the curriculums has to be looked at carefully and then decide what will work together and be effective in the teaching learning process so that there is success in the end result as it relates to time, money, resources and effectiveness where learning and teaching are concerned. To build such integrated approached curriculums it will take everyone to be onboard and involved to make it suitable and understandable so that it can be easily interpreted, so that it can be used properly to produced valuable teachings. Once the integrated classrooms curriculums are developed then the technology resources has to be upgraded to suit the new curriculums in order for it to be effective for both learning and teaching. So therefore a teacher who has the knowledge of both technology and the classrooms curriculums can integrate some things to make learning more fun and effective but without the appropriate tools to make it function then it would be confusing or useless to an extent.
